SOUTH CENTRAL TOWARD ZERO DEATHS WORKSHOP THURSDAY IN ST. JAMES
South Central Minnesota’s Toward Zero Deaths workshop is Thursday at the 225 Event Center in St. James starting at 8:30. Nearly 60 regional traffic safety stakeholders representing law enforcement, engineering, education, emergency medical and trauma services will be on hand. Plus local leaders will also be on hand. Some of the highlights will include “Crash Course: The Data Edition, Don’t Cut the Cable dealing with cable median barriers, oral fluid and cannabis and AI with Connected and Automated vehicles. Toward Zero Deaths started in 2003 and since then, traffic-related deaths have declined by 43-percent through 2025. You can find the full agenda at Minnesota tzd.org.
