Southern Minnesota Flood Recovery

State and local officials will update residents Monday on flood-recovery efforts across southern Minnesota.
Heavy rainfall September 18th and 19th damaged homes, businesses and roads. New Richland officials estimate approximately 80 percent of the community’s homes were affected, and 36 care-center residents were evacuated.
No injuries were reported. The public briefing is scheduled for 1 P-M at New Richland City Hall.
