SPIKIN’ IN THE STREET THIS WEEKEND, VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
New Ulm’s second annual Spikin’ in the Street is this weekend and this year’s event will be bigger. There will be an estimated 1200 tons of sand brought in, compared to 600 last year. 91 teams this year instead of 44 last year and there will be 8 courts this year spread over two blocks. The pre-party is Friday starting at 5 and play starts at 7 am Saturday. The Chamber of Commerce is still looking for some volunteers for various tasks.
