SPRINGFIELD AREA NATIVITY PAGEANT THIS WEEKEND

The annual presentation of the Christmas story is this weekend in Springfield.  The Springfield Nativity pageant is tonight (Friday) and Saturday night at 7 pm in the east parking lot of the Springfield Area Community Center.  The presentation by the Springfield Area Nativity Theater Association uses the Christmas Story according to St. Luke with Mary and Joseph traveling from Nazareth to Bethlehem where baby Jesus is born in the manger.  Carter and Ashley Cook and their daughter Lily will portray Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus.  The event is free and is a gift to the community from the Springfield Area Nativity Theater Association.
