SPRINGFIELD MAN HURT IN VEHICLE VS. DEER CRASH
A Springfield man was hurt when the Chevy Silverado he was riding in collided with a deer Wednesday morning at 6:52 am. Authorities say the Silverado was driven by 17-year-old Skyler Yates of Springfield eastbound on Highway 14 in Burnstown Township near Springfield when it stuck the deer. He wasn’t hurt. 70-year-old Jerry Miller of Springfield was a passenger and was taken to Springfield Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Another passenger, 45-year-old Rebecca Yates of Springfield wasn’t hurt. Brown County Sheriff’s Office and Springfield ambulance assisted at the scene.
