St. Cloud Man Sentenced to 17½ Years for Child Sexual Abuse

A St. Cloud man will spend 17-and-a-half years in prison for sexually abusing a young girl.

A Stearns County jury convicted 43-year-old Scott Erickson of two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct. Prosecutors say the abuse began when the child was six and occurred repeatedly at homes in St. Cloud and St. Joseph between 2022 and 2024.

Erickson received credit for more than two years already served. He will also face ten years of conditional release and must register as a predatory offender.
