ST. JAMES WOMAN KILLED IN I-90 CRASH

The state patrol was called to a crash that killed a St. James woman on I-90 just east of Highway 52 in Olmsted County Tuesday morning.  Authorities were called shortly before 9 am to the crash between a semi, Nissan Altima and Toyota Rav4.  Authorities say the semi was driven by 43-year-old Louis Plaskey of Loyal, Wisconsin.  It was heading east and sideswiped the Nissan driven by 46-year-old Alex Whiteis of Austin.  The Nissan then collided with the Toyota driven by 72-year-old Evelyn Brye of St. James.  She was killed.  Three of four people in the crash were not hurt.  Authorities say the road was wet at the time.
