St. Paul Police Chief Sues Mayor Over Alleged Harassment
St. Paul Police Chief Axel Henry is suing Mayor Kaohly Her and the city, alleging sexual harassment and retaliation.
The six-count civil lawsuit alleges unwanted touching, sexual comments and retaliation after Henry complained about the mayor’s conduct.
An outside investigation found Her engaged in inappropriate workplace behavior but did not substantiate allegations of sexual harassment or retaliation. Her has acknowledged crossing workplace boundaries, and the city says it will not comment further on active litigation.
