State Patrol Says Alcohol Was Involved In Single Vehicle Accident

A Strandquist area man was injured in a single vehicle accident Friday morning in Marshall County. 

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, alcohol was a factor in the crash reported just before 12:30am. Officials say Gage Eliott Skadsem (22) was northbound on Highway 32 in Middle River when the 2011 GMC Sierra he was driving left the roadway just north of 380th Street Northeast.

Skadsem was taken to Sanford in Thief River Falls and treated for injuries troopers at the scene described as non-life threatening.
