State VB Results/Schedule

The Minnesota State Volleyball tournament is underway at the Excel Energy Center.

Class AAAA day one results:

Lakeville South was a 3 to 0 winner over Apple Valley, Roseville Area was a 3 to 1 winner over St Michael/Albertville, Champlin Park was a straight set winner over Anoka and East Ridge defeats Minnetonka 3 to 0.

The Semi-finals results: Lakeville South defeats Roseville Area 3 to 0 and Champlin Park was a 3 to 2 winner over East Ridge.

Championship match is tomorrow night at 7pm.

Class AAA results:

Delano was a 3 to 0 winner over Hermantown, Alexandria Area defeats Mahtomedi 3 to 0, Marshall moves to the semi’s with a 3 to 0 win over Monticello and Stewartville defeats Cretin/Derham Hall 3 to 1.

The Semi-final matchups: Alexandria defeats Delano 3 to 1 and Marshall was a 3 to 0 winner over Stewartville.

Double A Quarterfinal results: Albany was a 3 to 1 winner over New London/Spicer, Southwest Christian defeats Annandale 3 to 0, Chatfield was a 3 to 1 winner over Rush City and Hawley defeats St Croix Lutheran 3 to 2.

Semi-final results:

Southwest Christian was a 3 to 0 winner over Albany and Hawley needed five sets to get past Chatfield.

Championship:

Hawley defeats Southwest Christian 3 to 1

Class A Quarterfinal results:

Mayer Lutheran defeats Sebeka 3 to 0, West Central was a 3 to 1 winner over Kittson County Central, Minneota defeats Ely 3 to 0 and Fillmore Central was a 3 to 2 winner over New Life Academy.

Semi-final results:

Mayer Lutheran was a 3 to 1 winner over West Central and Minneota defeats Filmore Central 3 to 1.

Championship:

Mayer Lutheran wins the Class A title with a 3 to 0 win over Minneota.
