Stevens County Farm Family of the Year

This year’s farm family of the year for Stevens County is the Aanerud family.

Aanerud farm, which is the name of the family farm, is a multi-generational agribusiness managed by Andy and supported by his wife, Heather, his parents, Jim and Lorraine, his son Micah, daughter Savannah, one full-time employee, several seasonal machinery operators, and when possible, Andy’s step-family members.

Savannah started her career with Stevens County 4-h, as the Extension Educator back in 2021.

Andy has been a proud member of the Farm Bureau for over 35 years. He has been serving as the county Farm Bureau President, rancher chairman, board member, membership chairman, young farmer and is now the vice president.

The entire family has been actively involved in many different levels of 4-H, FFA and the Farm Bureau.

They also support the Donnelly Threshing Bee 5K Walk/Run.
