Stevens County Household Hazardous Waste Collection

Stevens County residents can dispose of unusable paints, stains, varnishes and other household hazardous waste free of charge on Wednesday, May 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Stevens County Highway Garage on Highway 9 north of Morris.

Accepted items include paint, stains, varnishes, aerosols, lawn and garden pesticides, and flammable products.

Items not accepted include business waste, explosives, ammunition, asbestos, and fluorescent lights.
