Sunday Amateur Finals

Busy amateur schedule yesterday in the Tomahawk East and Crow River.

Tomahawk finals:

Lamberton was a 9 to 2 winner over Gibbon.

Courtland ten runs Essig, 10 to 0.

Searles wins their second game of the season, 10 to 3 over Fairfax.

Hanska needed 11 innings to defeat Lamberton 4 to 2.

Leavenworth defeats Stark, 6 to 1, during Stark Benefit Days.

The Game of the Week saw Springfield pull away in the later innings to defeat St James 8 to 2.

Crow River finals:

Cologne ten runs Norwood, 14 to 4.

Green Isle does the same to New Germany, 15 to 0.

As did Waconia over Glencoe 12 to 0 and Westonka over Winsted 12 to 2.

Plato beats Brownton 8 to 1.

Carver was a 3 to 2 winner over Mayer and Watertown was an 11 to 5 winner over Hamburg.

 

New Ulm Gold pounded out 20 hits, during a 23 to 3 threshing over Bloomington. New Ulm went 1 and 3 at the Fargo Tournament.

Sleepy Eye Post 7 defeats Wells 5 to 1.
