Teen Driver Injured in Stearns Co Crash

A 16-year-old driver was airlifted to a Twin Cities hospital for treatment after a crash in Stearns County Sunday afternoon near Sauk Centre.

The Sheriff’s Office says Isaac Hokanson of Sauk Centre was driving south on County Road 29 near 375th Avenue when the vehicle left the road, struck an approach, and vaulted 350 feet before coming to rest in a field.

Authorities say Hokanson suffered significant injuries.

The crash happened just before 1pm.
