Ten Indicted on Minnesota Voting-Related Charges
Federal prosecutors have announced separate indictments against ten foreign nationals in Minnesota voting cases.
The charges involve allegations of voting while ineligible as a noncitizen, falsely claiming U.S. citizenship to register or vote, or both.
Prosecutors say the cases involve the 2022 and 2024 general elections and this year’s August primary. One defendant is accused of casting a ballot during that primary.
The indictments were returned September 24. All ten defendants have made initial court appearances and are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
