The Lynx lose to Caitlin Clark and the Fever.
The Minnesota Lynx weren’t able to take down rookie sensation Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever, losing 81-74 Sunday in Downtown Minneapolis.
Lynx forward Napheesa Collier remained out on Sunday due to a foot injury. It was Minnesota’s fourth straight game without their star after she suffered the injury on July 4 against the Sun.
Fever rookie guard Caitlin Clark was held to only two points in the first quarter, which was the lowest mark of her young WNBA career.
But the rookie phenom lit it up in the fourth quarter by scoring 10 of her 16 points to lead the Fever from down 60-53 after three quarters to the road win.
