The Minnesota Speech Coaches Association Announce Speech Competitors
The Minnesota Speech Coaches Association (MSCA) has released the names of 128 speech competitors, representing 63 different high schools, who have earned a spot on the 2025 MSCA All-State Speech Team. Morris Area High School Senior Zachary Dietz has been named to this list. To qualify for All-State, speakers must attain a set of milestones established by the MSCA. Those qualifications include being a senior in high school and documented excellence in competition, including at least one appearance at the Minnesota State High School League State Speech Tournament. These students have provided extensive service and leadership to their community.
The All-State students will receive their awards at the Minnesota State High School League State Speech Tournament this Friday and Saturday at Shakopee High School. Dietz competes in the Discussion category and his Class A rounds will take place on Friday. The first of his three rounds will begin at 10:15 a.m., with a Finals Round at 3:30 p.m. if he makes it that far.
