“The Wall That Heals” Coming to Hutchinson

“The Wall That Heals,” a three-quarter scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington D.C., will be in Hutchinson for public viewing later this month.

Vietnam Veteran Dave Skoog is a Co-Host of bringing the memorial to Hutchinson:

The memorial honors the more than three million Americans who served in the U.S. Armed forces in the Vietnam War and it bears the names of the 58,281 men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in Vietnam:

Hutchinson is the only listed stop in Minnesota on the exhibit’s tour this year.

The memorial, run by the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund, is free to the public and will be escorted from Glencoe to Hutchinson on Tuesday, August 20th and will be open from midnight Thursday, Aug. 22, to 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25 and will be located at 1150 Benjamin Ave SE in Hutchinson.

The exhibit also includes a mobile education center, which provides information about the Vietnam War.
