Theresa M. Dale

Theresa M. Dale, age 78 of Browns Valley, Minnesota, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2025, in her home.

Visitation for Theresa Dale will be held Tuesday, August 26, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Browns Valley, MN.

Funeral services for Theresa M. Dale will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 26, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Browns Valley, MN.

Burial will be at a later date in the St. Mary’s Cemetery, Beardsley, MN.

Theresa May was born December 20, 1946, to Bert and Margaret (Sykora) Gibson in Graceville, MN.  She attended school in Beardsley, MN, graduating from Beardsley High School in 1964.  Theresa then raised her family in and around the Twin Cities.  For most of her life, she cleaned houses.

In late 2024, Theresa moved to Browns Valley, where she lived until her passing. She found joy in spending time with her grandchildren, doing puzzles and puzzle books, watching game shows on TV, playing board games, and doing an occasional scratch off ticket.  Theresa enjoyed spending time with the love of her life, Mark.

We are thankful for all the care he provided to her, and he will always be a part of our family.  She was very devoted to her faith.  We rejoice in the promise of eternal life.

Survivors include her children: Philip (Kathy) Dale of Browns Valley, MN, Jeff (Shelly) Dale of Minnetrista, MN, and Todd Dale of Rockford, MN; six grandchildren, Melissa, Breeann, Abigail, Natasha, Ellie, and Morgan; numerous great-grandchildren; siblings: Bernie Diekmann, Don (Gerry) Diekmann, Margaret (Al) Retka, and Joan (Bob) Stallman; and brother-in-law: Pete Giroux.

Theresa was preceded in death by her parents; siblings: Dorothy Anderson, Leroy Diekmann, Delores Giroux, and Jerry Diekmann; and significant other: Mark Reents.

Arrangements are with Eggers Funeral Home in Rosholt, South Dakota.
