Thielen up for an ESPY

Former Vikings receiver and Detroit Lakes native Adam Thielen is up for national recognition off the field. ESPN named Thielen a nominee for the Muhammad Ali Sports Humanitarian Award at the 2026 ESPYS. The award honors athletes who create measurable community impact through sports. Through the Thielen Foundation, he has helped expand youth mental health resources, education programs and sports access, with more than 4-point-6 million dollars invested in nonprofit work.
