THREE ARRESTED IN CONNECTION WITH OLIVIA MAN’S STABBING
Three suspects have been arrested in connection to a June 26 incident in which an Olivia man was allegedly hit by a vehicle and stabbed in Meeker County. Authorities found 50-year-old Galen Serbus lying in a ditch. A 20-year-old Pennock woman was arrested at a hotel in Willmar. A 26-year-old Litchfield man was arrested during a traffic stop in Willmar and a 48-year-old man from Arco was arrested at a hotel outside of Granite Falls. The investigation reveals that the suspects brought Serbus to a remote location in Meeker County to rob him. Authorities say Serbus was intentionally hit by their vehicle and then stabbed after. Formal charges are pending. Authorities say the investigation is still active and if anyone has information, you are asked to contact the Meeker County Sheriff’s Office.
