Three Charged in Assault of Olivia Man

Three suspects are now charged in connection with the alleged assault that left a 50-year-old severely injured in a Meeker County ditch June 28.

According to the charges filed Friday, they allegedly robbed Galen Serbus of $23,000 before attempting to kill him.

The West Central Tribune reports 26-year-old Tre Anthony Ertl of Litchfield was charged with attempted first- and second-degree homicide, along with one count of aggravated robbery in the first degree and first-degree assault.

Twenty-year-old Aryianna Taree Pillatzki of Pennock, was charged with aiding and abetting the robbery and a felony count of second-degree assault, as she allegedly attempted to run the man over with a motor vehicle.

Forty-eight-year-old David Lawrence Pillatzki Jr of Arco, was charged with four felony counts for allegedly aiding and abetting the attempted homicide, assault and aggravated robbery.

Serbus was airlifted to Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis for treatment of serious injuries.
