Three Injured in McLeod County Crash

A driver and his two passengers were injured in a two-vehicle crash in McLeod County Saturday afternoon near Silver Lake.

The State Patrol says 56-year-old Eduardo Hernandez of Hutchinson and his two passengers, 49-year-old Marisol Gonzalas and 13-year-old Zachary Hernandez, also from Hutchinson, were taken to Hutchinson ER for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the other vehicle, 74-year-old Ervin Smith of Hutchinson was not injured.

The crash happened on Highway 7 at County Road 2 just before 2pm.
