Timberwolves Add Guard Depth

The Minnesota Timberwolves had a busy opening night of the N-B-A Draft, adding two players from the first round. Minnesota began the night by trading for Kentucky guard Rob Dillingham, whom the Spurs had picked eighth overall. The Wolves gave San Antonio a 2031 unprotected first round pick and a 2030 protected pick swap to complete the deal. Minnesota then used their own 27th pick to select Illinois guard Terrence Shannon Jr. Minnesota is schedule to pick at 37 in the second round tonight.
