Timberwolves in Summer Spotlight

The Minnesota Timberwolves are turning attention to Las Vegas Summer League, where young big man Joan Beringer is expected to be one of the headliners. The Wolves’ summer roster also includes Trey Kaufman-Renn, the Purdue forward Minnesota selected in the second round, along with 7-foot-3 center Rocco Zikarsky and several young guards and wings fighting for attention. Minnesota opens Summer League play later this week, with the roster giving the front office another look at development pieces after another 49-win regular season.
