Timberwolves lose late

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Miami Heat came through in the clutch to steal a 95-94 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Target Center last night. Miami’s Nikola Jovic scored and was fouled on a game-tying lay-up with under ten-seconds left in the game and hit the free throw to give Miami the win. The Heat outscored Minnesota 15-6 in the final five-minutes to rally from an eight-point deficit. Tyler Herro poured in 26 points during the victory. Miami snapped a three-game losing streak to improve to 4-5. Minnesota’s Anthony Edwards finished with 22 points in the loss. Minnesota had its three-game winning streak snapped and fell to 6-4. The Wolves play back-to-back games in Portland tomorrow and Wednesday at 9 P-M both nights.
