Timberwolves name new GM

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Timberwolves have promoted senior vice president of basketball operations Matt Lloyd to general manager. Lloyd has been with the Wolves for three seasons after spending a decade with the Orlando Magic organization. Lloyd will report to the president of basketball operations Tim Connelly, who says Lloyd has made a huge impact on the franchise.
