Timberwolves Still Alive In NBA Playoffs
The Minnesota Timberwolves are pushing the defending N-B-A champions to the brink of elimination. Minnesota blew out the Denver Nuggets 115-70 in Game Six of the Western Conference Semifinals at the Target Center last night. The Wolves led by as many as 50 points and limited Denver to a 19.4-percent clip from beyond the arc in the must-win game on their home hardwood. Anthony Edwards led the way with 27 points and four three-point baskets. Jaden McDaniels chipped in 21 points, while Karl-Anthony Towns had a double-double with 10 points and 13 boards. A decisive Game Seven will be played in Denver on Sunday.
