TRAIN VS. PEDESTRIAN
A New Ulm man was hurt when he was struck by a train Friday afternoon. Police were called to 17th North and Minnesota Street at 4:26 pm and found 25-year-old Joseph Daly had been hit by the train as he walked along the side of the tracks. Police say He was wearing over the year headphones and did not hear or feel the train coming. Daly was airlifted to Hennepin County Medical Center with possible internal injuries. There wasn’t any damage to the train.
