Transportation From Hutchinson Available for MOA Vietnam Commemoration

The Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs (MDVA) is working with Disabled American Veterans and the Minnesotans for Veterans Trust Fund has allowed for free transportation to the 50th Anniversary Vietnam Commemoration being held at Mall of America next week.

For those in the Hutchinson area, transportation is available for the commemorative program being held at 11am on Friday, June 14.

Officials say the bus will leave that morning at 9am from the Hutchinson Farmers Market area and you can contact the Hutchinson Disabled American Veterans Office (320-587-1000) to reserve a seat, but the deadline to call is Wednesday, June 12.

Officials say the three-day event runs from June 13-15 and will serve as a display of federal and state resources for Minnesota veterans, as well as an active celebration of current veterans and a memorial for those who have passed.
