Traveling Vietnam Veterans Memorial Arrives in Hutchinson

The “Wall That Heals” arrived in Hutchinson Tuesday.

The traveling replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. was escorted from Glencoe to Hutchinson by a throng of motorcycles, fire trucks, and police.

The traveling memorial and education center is being set up at 1150 Benjamin Avenue SE in Hutchinson and will be open for public viewing from midnight Thursday (Aug 22) through 2pm Sunday, August 25.

Hutchinson is the only listed stop in Minnesota on the exhibit’s tour this year.
