Traverse County Farm Family of the Year
This year’s farm family of the year for Traverse County is the Findlay family.
Back in 1955, Nick Findlay’s great-grandpa Findlay bought the family farm.
Now Nick and his wife Shantelle raise corn, soybeans, wheat and alfalfa. They have also calve out about 300 cows.
Nick is a district sales manager for Mustang Seeds and manages a warehouse on the east edge of Beardsley, assisted by Shantelle, who also operates Findlay Insurance Agency LLC out of the same location.
Congratulations to the Findlay family on being this year’s farm family of the year for Traverse County.
