Treone “Toni” Larson

Treone “Toni” Larson, age 81 of Belle Plaine, passed away on Friday, August 9, 2024 at the Lutheran Home in Belle Plaine. Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine. Rev. Daniel Slaughter will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at a later date in Britton, SD.

Toni was born in Morgan, MN on August 31, 1942 to Herman and Clara (Boettcher) Kettner. She grew up near Morris, Minnesota and attended country school. She attended High School; at Martin Luther Academy on the Martin Luther College campus in New Ulm. Her senior year she returned to Morris to graduate. She met Wayne Larson in Belle Plaine when Toni was visiting her sister. They were married on October 10, 1964 at Trinity Lutheran in Belle Plaine. Toni did payroll for the plastics plant in Belle Plaine and retired as manager of the purchasing department at Contour Plastics in Bloomington. After retirement, they enjoyed their summers up north and winters in Florida. She was involved in her church banner committee and sang in the church choir for many years. She loved following the events and activities of her nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Darla, Rhonda, Terry and an infant brother, Lowell.

Toni is survived by her husband, Wayne, Siblings, Dallas (Judy) Kettner of Worley, ID, and Dan (Judy) Kettner of Federal Way, WA. Sisters in law, Carol McCurdy of Pocahontas, IA, and Sylvia Husen of Salina, KS, Brother in law, Terry (June) Larson of Venice, FL. Many Nieces & Nephews.
