TRF Man Faces Several Charges Following Traffic Stop

A Thief River Falls man faces several charges following a traffic stop last weekend along Pennington Avenue and 150th Street.

Police say Jason Ray Scott (48) was arrested Saturday after officers observed a black SUV with 2022 registration that did not match the make and model. Police say the registered owner was listed as canceled. Scott was charged with Gross Misdemeanor Intent to Escape Tax, Driving After Cancellation, and No Proof of Insurance. 

Police responded just after 2:30pm.
