Trout season opens
(St. Paul, MN) — The stream trout season opened over the weekend in all six regions of Minnesota. D-N-R coordinator Benji Kohn says there are lots of great opportunities to reel in a trout in Minnesota. He says we have over 38 hundred miles of designated trout streams all the way from the North Shore of Lake Superior, across the state and down to the southeast in the Driftless Area. The D-N-R website has a StreamFinder which has information about trout streams, species and regulations in Minnesota. Anglers ages 18 to 64 must have a trout stamp in addition to a fishing license.
