Trump Rally Scheduled in St. Cloud

(Learfield News/St. Paul, MN) — The Trump presidential campaign plans to rally Minnesota Republicans on Saturday in St. Cloud.

Hamline University Professor David Schultz says the GOP ticket has its eye on the State of Hockey. He said, “clearly Trump and Vance think it’s in play or at least want to put into play.”

Schultz says holding a large rally in a traditionally blue state is smart politics. He says, “even if Minnesota is not in play, the fact that Trump is coming here is gonna now force Harris to devote resources to defending the state.”

A Harris campaign spokesperson said, “A Republican presidential candidate hasn’t won Minnesota since 1972, and this year will be no different.”
