Twins 4-3 over Blue Jays on Sunday Afternoon
Andrew Morris came in for the Twins in the first inning when Joe Ryan came up with soreness in his right elbow. The bullpen came in big for the Twins and finished with a 4-3 win over Blue Jays! Joe Ryan is one the best pitchers in the MLB if Ryan is out for an extended period of time, it will be another blow for Twins starting pitching is already without Palo Lopes.
Twins scored right away when Victor Caratini singled on a sharp ground ball to right field and Trevor Larnach scored making it 1-0 after one inning. In the 5th inning it was doubles by Luke Keaschall, Kody Clemens, and Matt Wallner to add to the score to put Twins up 4-0 and then hung on. Toronto, of course made it close picking up two runs in the ninth inning the Twins bullpen pitch well and held off the Blue Jays.
