Twins Bats Come Alive In Win
The Minnesota Twins beat the L-A Angels on Friday night 11-4, behind a homer and four R-B-I from Trevor Larnach and a homer and three R-B-I from Byron Buxton. The Twins blew the game open by scoring six runs in the fourth inning to take a 9-1 lead. Starter Pablo Lopez made his first start in 18 days and went five innings, giving up two earned runs, two walks and recording six strikeouts.
Audio PlayerD-H Luke Keaschall left the game after being hit by a pitch in the first inning. After the game, manager Rocco Baldelli said Keaschall suffered a fracture in his right forearm. The Twins have won three-out-of-four and are 10-16 on the season. The teams play again today at Target Field with first pitch 1:10. Coverage begins at 12:30pm on SAM 107.3
