Twins Defeats The Astro’s

The Minnesota Twins opened their three-game series against the Houston Astros with a rain-delayed 6-3 win at Target Field last night. Minnesota scored the first six runs of the game and never looked back. Josh Bell homered twice and drove in four runs, while Eric Orze earned his second win in relief. The game was delayed by nearly two hours due to rain. The Twins remain in third place in the American League Central Division at 22-26. The Astros dipped to 19-30 and are in fourth-place in the A-L West. Zebby Matthews starts for Minnesota against Houston tonight. First pitch is 6:40 P-M.
