Twins Drop Series Finale 7-4 to Athletics

The Minnesota Twins surrendered an early lead and lost Wednesday’s series finale to the Athletics 7-to-4.

Brooks Lee homered in the first inning before Trevor Larnach and Kaelen Culpepper hit back-to-back solo shots in the second, giving Minnesota a 3-to-nothing lead.

The Twins carried a 4-to-2 advantage into the bottom of the sixth, but the Athletics scored four runs against Minnesota’s bullpen to move in front.

Lawrence Butler added a solo homer in the seventh. The Athletics took two of three games in the series. Minnesota Twins
