Twins Drop Third Straight in 8–2 Loss to Royals

Kansas City handed the Minnesota Twins their third straight loss Tuesday night, beating them 8 to 2 at Kauffman Stadium.

Joe Ryan allowed five runs, four earned, over five and a third innings. The Royals scored three times in the fifth and three more in the eighth to pull away.

Royce Lewis provided Minnesota’s biggest bright spot, going four-for-four. Josh Bell hit a solo home run in the eighth, his 15th of the season.

The Twins committed two errors and fell to 56 and 58. Minnesota and Kansas City continue the series tonight at 6:40.
