Twins edge Rockies

The Minnesota Twins closed out their weekend series with a 3-2 win over the Colorado Rockies on Sunday at Target Field. Rookie left-hander Connor Prielipp struck out a career-high 10 batters over six innings, helping Minnesota take two of three in the series. Kody Clemens homered in the fourth inning, and Ryan Kreidler delivered the go-ahead solo shot in the seventh. The Twins bullpen finished it off, with Yoendrys Gomez closing the ninth after Anthony Banda exited with an injury. Minnesota now heads to Houston to open a three-game series with the Astros tonight.
