Twins Get Past A’s

The Minnesota Twins get past the Oakland Athletics 3-0 to finish off the 3 game series in California.

Pablo Lopez pitched 8 innings while striking out 14 batters and giving up just 2 hits.

Byron Buxton homered in the 2nd inning to give the Twins a 1-0 lead, while Buxton then doubled to center allowing Santana to score in the seventh inning.

The scoring was not over in the seventh as Farmer grounded into the field allowing Castro to score to put the Twins up for good 3-0.

The Twins finished off the series winning two out of three in California and will head to Arizona to take on the Diamondbacks tomorrow night at 8:40pm.
