Twins Host Detroit Tonight

The Minnesota Twins were off last night and will go for their third win in a row when they host the Detroit Tigers at Target Field tonight. The Twins are coming off a series win over the Seattle Mariners this past weekend, including Sunday’s 5-3 win. Minnesota is in second place in the A-L Central at 47-37. Detroit was also off yesterday and enters tonight’s game at 38-46. Right-hander Simeon Woods Richardson takes the mound for the Twins tonight. He is 3-1 this season with a 3.41 earned run average. He will face Tigers ace lefty Tarik Skubal, who is 9-3 this year with a 2.32 E-R-A. First pitch is at 6:40 P-M. Coverage begins at 6pm on KNUJ and SAM 107.3
