Twins Host the Guardians Tonight

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Twins were off last night and are back home today to open a six-game home stand after a six-game road trip. Minnesota is hosting the Cleveland Guardians for a three-game series that starts tonight at Target Field. The 44-47 Twins are hoping to grab their third straight win. They trail the Guardians by three games in the A-L Central for second place and are four games behind the first-place Chicago White Sox. Minnesota is one position out of the A-L Wild Card spot, a game-and-a-half back of Texas. Both pitchers in tonight’s contest share a 7-3 record and an identical 3.86 earned run average. Minnesota will start Taj Bradley and Cleveland counters with Joey Cantillo. Tonight’s first pitch is set for 6:40 P-M in downtown Minneapolis.
