Twins ink McCaughan

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Twins are bringing some depth into their bullpen. The club signed reliever Darren McCaughan to a minor league deal yesterday. The contract includes an invite to Spring Training. The 28-year-old played with both Miami and Cleveland last season. He had a 6.21 earned run average and 28 strikeouts in 42 innings of work.
