Twins lose depite Buxton’s Power

Byron Buxton gave the Twins a show, but Minnesota still came up short at Target Field. Buxton hit two home runs Wednesday night, the 19th multi-homer game of his career, moving him into third place on the Twins’ all-time list for multi-homer games. But Miami had the better night overall, beating Minnesota 9-5 behind a strong offensive performance from Leo Jiménez and Xavier Edwards. The Twins continue the homestand today, looking to bounce back after wasting one of Buxton’s best power nights of the season.
