Twins Lose in 10th

The Minnesota Twins blew a 4-2 tenth inning lead and lost at Cleveland last night 5-4. Twins star Carlos Correa had given Minnesota a 4-2 lead in the top of the tenth inning before reliever Ronny Henriquez failed to lock the game down in the bottom of the tenth. Henriquez allowed three runs to hand the Guardians the important win. Correa drove home all four runs for the Twins, who saw their lead for the final A-L Wild Card spot trimmed to just a half-game over Detroit. Minnesota is now 80-72 and will look for a series split with Cleveland with a 12:10 P-M. Rookie Simeon Woods Richardson is the scheduled starter for the Twins.
