Twins lose on Walkoff
(Cleveland, OH) — The Cleveland Guardians came through in the clutch during a 5-2 win over the Minnesota Twins at Progressive Field. The Twins tied the game 2-2 on a Cleveland error in the top of the ninth, but Will Brennan launched a three-run walk-off home run in the next half-inning to give Cleveland the walk-off win. Andres Gimenez also homered in the win, while Emmanuel Clase earned his third win in relief. The Guardians have won six of their last seven. Jose Miranda went deep in the losing effort, and Jhoan Duran was charged with his second loss out of the bullpen. The Twins are on a six-game losing streak and will visit Washington tonight.
