Twins Lose To Nationals
The Washington Nationals rattled off 14 hits and sent the Minnesota Twins to a seventh straight loss last night in the nation’s capital. The 12-3 loss dropped the Twins to 24-23 and six-and-a-half-games behind first-place Cleveland in the A-L Central. Mitchell Parker improved to 3-2 after striking out seven batters and allowing just three runs on seven hits in six innings. The Nats snapped a five-game losing streak. Carlos Correa went deep in the losing effort, and Pablo Lopez was charged with his fourth loss after surrendering seven runs on eight hits in five innings.
